Tiny Planets

I like to show off a scene with panoramas. They contain a lot of interest and detail. But if the panoramas are displayed like in Google StreetView, they become boring.

A much more fun way to display 360 degree photos is to turn them in "tiny planets". The correct term for this technique: stereographic projection.

It needs up to 40 single photos to stitch a 360 degree panorama image. With a little bit help of software, the tiny planets are created fast.
